The Mystery of Agent Butternut Squash and the Cinnamon Swirl

I am not perfect, nor do I strive to be

1/5/09 02:50 am - I am not perfect, nor do I strive to be

so my only resolution for the new year is to eat more tacos, I think it's going to be a good one. Kevin made tacos after he got home and chilled on the couch a bit, and we watched the first 3 episodes of The Shield season 6 on DVD.

I don't really have any other goals for 2009. I thought 2008 was a good year and I'm hoping that the goodness will just continue. Hopefully my application for permanent residence will go through relatively soon, work and everything else to follow. I hope to be a better person and improve on my faults. I don't want to lose 900lbs and start eating super healthy and work in a soup kitchen every day and save the world. I just want to work on being a better me :)

Today was fairly good. Just a lot of chores really, a little bit of video games. I tried sleeping around midnight but couldn't really do it, too much bouncing around in my brain but I think that for the most part, it's gone out of my head and I may be able to sleep in a bit.

I have no idea what we're going to be doing when I wake up. I know we need to pick up insulin for Kevin, and I know he mentioned something else, but I think it will be a mostly relaxing day because I got the chores done today.
